Alcuin School is an independent preschool on Queen Anne for ages 2 1/2 through 5, offering preschool, prekindergarten and summer programs.
"I have a daughter now entering second grade who attended two years of Alcuin preschool and am now excited to be sending my little boy there! It is a wonderful school. The teacher is an expert at early child development, and knows how to nurture kids through the preschool years. She really ‘gets’ kids and does an amazing job of engaging them with fun group activities. Also, Alcuin's small size means that all the kids get individualized attention and instruction. The preschool experience sets the stage for how kids learn to interact with classmates and teachers and how they ‘learn to learn’".
