Hi, Metta, I am a freshman in Trinity-Pawling School in NY. And I am looking forward to applying a better school next year. I want to apply for grade 10 (class of 2016, which means I will repeat sophomore year) or grade 11 (class of 2015) of your school. I am an well-rounded student with average 90 grades. Base on my circumstances, what tests (ssat,psat,sat) do you recommend me to take? and which grade (10 or 11) do you recommend me to apply for?

Hello from Northfield Mount Hermon. A 10th grade/11th grade applicant will need to take two exams to fulfill our testing requirement. We require the SSAT and the TOEFL. You can be waived from taking the TOEFL if you have completed three school years where the majority of your subjects were taught in English. A good gauge is if your math and science courses have been taught in English of three complete years. For a 10th grade student, our minimum TOEFL to apply is an 90 IBT and 11th grade is a 95 IBT.
