大家好！我是Rita，今年10年級馬上讀11年級。現在就讀于杭州外國語學校本部，是一所不錯的學校（請問對申請美高是否有幫助？）我參加了一個與學校有合作的交換項目，今年八月赴美交換。交換的學校是一所德克薩斯州的普通公立學校。本來是抱著體驗生活的目的參加交換項目，所以沒有考慮學校學術方面的好壞。現在考慮讀完一年公立高中轉學到私立11升11。初三考過一次托福113，新SAT有把握可以在今年12月之前考到1500 。口語不錯，對英語很有興趣，參加過美式辯論比賽，杭州賽區十佳辯手和前四強，初二時參加希望之星杭州市亞軍。之前有參與過一個英語支教的活動，堅持了3個學期每周五去蕭山支教，最后一個學期是leader。興趣愛好比較廣泛，但都是只懂一些皮毛，喜歡花樣滑冰，學習了半年，喜歡馬術，也稍微學了一點。其他的愛好感覺對申請并無幫助，比如旅游、做菜、烘焙。個人比較喜歡語言，請問是否有必要在這一年里多學一門外語，比如日語？西班牙語？（我所在的城市距離墨西哥很近，有很多西班牙裔美國人）目前的目標是在公立學校好好學習爭取1%，Sat考出理想分數，多參與一些活動和體育運動。然后推薦信就讓現在學校的老師們寫，表現好點啦~看了之前的帖子，很少有11升11的案例，10升10一般都說很難名額很少。請問從公立學校轉學會不會比國內申請稍微容易一些？目前對自己的定位并不十分準確，案例比較少，也不清楚我們學校比較好對申請是否有幫助。現在的定位是 Reach school： The Hockaday School（因為在德州會不會方便一些？）Match school： Dana Hall School，The Madeira School，Indian Springs School（有同學在那里讀）Safe：完全沒想法 我覺得match school 也許有點懸，其實只要100名以內都可以，適合自己的最好，當然能排名靠前一點也好啦，偏愛女校。希望大家給我一些指點！謝謝！

你現在的情況有點曲線救國的意思。11轉11會比直接從國內申11有優勢， 你的條件不錯，最關鍵的是找到11年級的位置。喜歡女校可以再加兩所，Miss Porter's 和, Emma Willard 。

用不著第一天就報，但今年的三次和明年一月七號的要盡量提前規劃好報名。

九月份的生日，絕大部分學校可以九申九。整體上看，九申九會比九申十稍容易，但具體到每一所學校，這個難易程度會主要由學校當年的九年級和十年級名額來決定。所以如果申請難度是你做決定的重要因素，需要申請前先掌握各年級的招生名額，再做申九或者申十的決定。

這個沒有什么變通的余地，要么簽，要么放棄，選其他你可以接受條款的學校。一般而言，學校應該把學校的重大疏忽排除于免責之外。

各位好，我兒子今年13歲，開學8年級。在北京市重點中學，班級排名前十，英語年級也排名也前20。擅長繪畫，鋼琴，體育也非常好。我們計劃上美高，請各位幫忙推薦哪里的學校適合這樣的孩子，朋友推薦加州的webb，Stevenson School和Cate School，The Thacher School，但這些學校的托福分數要求100以上，2016年12月要遞交成績，我們7月剛開始托福學習，考不出這樣好的成績，哪我們還能選擇那些學校呢？謝謝各位！

這些學校不但不需要托福還需要SSAT、如果今年沒有辦法拿到理想的標化成績，可以選擇多準備一年標化考試，明年考出好成績，然后九申九。另外一個選項是可以考慮先八申八，然后再做八申九的轉學，這樣比較折滕，但是對英語基礎不錯，標化成績不理想的孩子也是一個不錯的選擇。

GPA不錯，這是轉學申請的最大優勢，這種情況下既使標化稍低也可以拿到不錯的學校。不過春季入學，不是很好的選擇，大多數很好的寄宿不接受春季入學，走讀學校的情況會，靈活一些

按爬藤率排名，Trinity 是全美所有私立學校中排名前三的學校，學校不缺生源，也不招國際生。
